We are looking to recruit volunteers to spend an hour or so at home every 5 to 6 weeks reading and recording local newspaper articles. We are also looking for Technician volunteers with computer skills to spend a few hours at home every 5 to 6 weeks. The Technician will receive audio files from readers by email, using Adobe Audition or open source Audacity to tidy them up and compile into a complete broadcast on a USB memory stick.
Both roles will operate on a rota basis with other experienced members of the Talking Newspaper team. Full training will be given.
